The perfect Saturday night companion playing some of the finest Hip Hop, RnB, Afrobeats, Neo-soul and UKG, from the ‘Golden-Era’ classics to the hottest up and coming artists. Each episode is thematically driven whether by genre, era, country-specific or featuring guest local artists showcasing their music.

 

A ‘Hip Hop Head’ since learning to walk, Jack has amassed a huge stock of knowledge that he dishes out between tracks and witty retorts. His Brazilian heritage is fundamental to his love of selecting songs from around the world and mixing them into a perfect blend with the UK and US scenes. Tune in for such prodigious recurring segments as “Wait….I swear I know that sample.” breaking down some of the classic soul and funk samples and examining their connection to the Hip Hop and RnB world. Jack started at The Boogaloo Pub as a chef in the kitchen, his love of music was on display every evening with music blaring out of speakers to the chagrin of some of the staff. He jumped at the opportunity to join the budding Boogaloo Radio team and has been doing shows ever since.
